CPUID CPU-Z is a free CPU information and processor identification tool for Microsoft Windows. It gathers, in one window, the details you would otherwise hunt for in the BIOS, Device Manager and the manufacturer's spec sheet.

download for Windows x86/x64 in two forms: a classic setup installer, and a ZIP archive that runs
without installation — the build most people mean when they search for a portable CPU-Z. Extract the
ZIP, run cpuz_x64.exe, and the application starts on the CPU tab. CPU-Z is fully supported
on Windows 11.
CPU-Z identifies Intel and AMD desktop, laptop and server processors with the same detection engine, so it is equally at home reading an AMD Ryzen or an Intel Core configuration. Motherboard and system vendors also ship skinned builds of the same software: the custom versions section lists ASUS ROG, MSI Gaming, Gigabyte and Gigabyte AORUS editions. They are cosmetic variants of CPU-Z, not separate products, so an ASUS branded CPU-Z reports exactly the same processor information.
The Bench tab runs the built-in CPU-Z benchmark and reports single-thread and multi-thread scores that you can compare against reference processors inside the application, plus a stress-test mode to keep the CPU loaded. The Validate button submits a signed validation to the CPU-Z Validator, which produces a shareable page describing the detected configuration.
CPU-Z is an information tool: it reads what the hardware is and how fast it is clocked, not the thermal sensors. For CPU temperature, GPU temperature, voltages and fan speeds, use HWMonitor, the CPUID hardware monitoring software for Windows, or HWMonitor PRO for graphs and alerts.
